Reviewing development projects worth Rs 1984.50 crore under the Smart City Project, Lok Sabha member Chaudhary Santokh Singh from Jalandhar on Tuesday directed authorities to ensure timely and results are completed in the city in a timely manner So that the people of the district can benefit from this.

Member of Parliament chairing a meeting with Jalandhar Smart City officials, along with Mayor Jagdish Raja, reviewed ongoing development works including Surface Water Project, Burlton Park Sports Hub and area based development programs, smart roads and other projects Done it. Plans on those bio-mining projects, disaster management activities, LED. Installation of streetlights and developing green belts under flyover, construction of parks and sewerage treatment plants also reviewed.
The Lok Sabha member asked authorities to give these projects the highest priority to benefit the people's welfare and development key policies of the state government to the ground level.
The parliament member clearly said that some kind of relaxation in timely implementation of these projects will be strictly tackled.

Chairing a meeting with the officials of Jalandhar smart city, the MP accompanied by Mayor Jagdish Raj Raja, reviewed the ongoing development works including surface water project, Burlton Park sports hub, and area based development program, smart roads and other projects. He further took stock of bio-mining project, disaster management activities plan, installation of LED street lights, and development of green belts under flyovers, construction of parks, sewage treatment plants, and lying of storm sewerage in the city.
The Lok Sabha MP also asked the officers to accord top most priority to these projects so that benefits of the pro-people and development oriented policies of the state government were percolated to the people at grass root level.
The MP categorically mentioned that any kind of laxity in the timely implementation of these projects was unwarranted and would be dealt strictly.
